NTMR, Extinction open with sweeps at OWCS NA Stage 2

NTMR and Extinction both opened Week 1 with 3-0 victories on Saturday at Overwatch Champions Series North America Stage 2.

NTMR blanked Sakura Esports, while Extinction followed suit against DhillDucks.

Team Liquid also prevailed, defeating Spacestation Gaming 3-1.

The tournament, played online, features eight teams. The regular-season round robin will conclude on June 15, with six qualifying teams heading to the double-elimination regional playoffs.

The top three teams will advance to the Midseason Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has yet to be determined.

NA Stage 2 continues Sunday with two matches:

–Geekay Esports vs. Supernova

–Spacestation Gaming vs. NTMR
