Heretics remain undefeated in CDL Stage 4 Major qualifying

The Miami Heretics won on Saturday over Cloud9 New York and are solidly atop the Call of Duty League’s Stage 4 Major qualifying standings with a 4-0 record and plus-6 map differential.

Other winners on Saturday were Minnesota Rokkr, the Los Angeles Thieves and Optic Texas.

The Stage 4 Major qualifying round has the league’s 12 teams playing five qualifying matches apiece through May 18 to determine seeding for the Stage 4 Major playoffs, slated for May 23-25 in Dallas.

The Miami Heretics overcame a 250-222 defeat on Vault Hardpoint to down Cloud9 New York 3-1. Victories came on Dealership Search & Destroy 6-4, Vault Control 3-0 and Skyline Hardpoint 250-204.

The Minnesota Rokkr won a marathon battle 3-2 with Los Angeles Guerrillas M80. Minnesota took Rewind Hardpoint 250-173, was edged on Red Card Search & Destroy 6-5, won on Protocol Control 3-1, lost on Skyline Hardpoint 250-219 and triumphed on Rewind Search & Destroy 6-4.

The Los Angeles Thieves shut out the Vegas Falcons 3-0. The Thieves won 250-121 on Skyline Hardpoint, 6-3 on Rewind Search & Destroy and 3-2 on Vault Control.

OpTic Texas swept the Carolina Royal Ravens 3-0, winning 250-183 on Vault Hardpoint, 6-4 on Dealership Search & Destroy and 3-1 on Vault Control.
