First-place NTMR improves to 4-0 at OWCS NA Stage 2

NTMR improved to 4-0 and moved into sole possession of first place with a 3-0 sweep of Team Liquid on Saturday in the Overwatch Champions Series North America Stage 2.

NTMR opened with a 2-1 win on Illios, following that with a 3-0 victory on New Junk City and closed with a 144.86-6.51m triumph on Runasapi.

Geekay Esports also won, posting a 3-0 sweep of Spacestation Gaming. Geekay prevailed 2-1 on Oasis, 3-1 on Suravasa and 3-2 on King’s Row.

The tournament, played online, features eight teams. The regular-season round robin will conclude on June 15, with six qualifying teams heading to the double-elimination regional playoffs.

The top three teams will advance to the Midseason Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has yet to be determined.

NA Stage 2 continues Sunday with two matches:
