Brighton and Hove Albion vs Brentford Team News and Predicted Lineups: Premier League

Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Brentford team news, lineups

Brighton & Hove Albion will host Brentford in a Premier League clash on Friday, as both teams look to bounce back from recent poor runs of form.

Brighton have gone five games without a win, including a 3-1 home defeat against rivals Crystal Palace. They sit 10th in the table, six points off the top four.

Brentford, meanwhile, have lost four of their last five matches and are 12th, with the lowest away points tally in the league this season.

Danny Welbeck is struggling with fitness and has missed the last two games. Mats Wieffer picked up a knock last week but Jack Hinshelwood and Ferdi Kadioglu could return. Solly March is back in full training after a long-term knee injury.

Brentford have a lengthy injury list, with defenders Kristoffer Ajer and Ethan Pinnock out until 2025. Mads Roerslev should be fit after a head injury, while Sepp van den Berg is also in contention.

Brighton Predicted Lineup: (4-2-3-1)

Verbruggen;

Veltman, Van Hecke, Dunk, Estupinan;

Baleba, Ayari;

Minteh, Joao Pedro, Mitoma;

Ferguson.

Brentford Predicted Lineup: (4-3-3)

Flekken;

Roerslev, Collins, Mee, Van den Berg;

Janelt, Norgaard, Damsgaard;

Mbeumo, Wissa, Lewis-Potter.

The match promises to be an entertaining encounter between two sides looking to get their seasons back on track. Brighton will be hoping home advantage can help them end their winless run, while Brentford will be aiming to improve their poor away form.
