The Reds are facing Royals left-hander Noah Cameron, who has allowed one run in the first five innings in his three starts.

Cincinnati has scored two runs or fewer in the first five innings in six of the last seven games against left-handed starting pitchers. Also, the Reds have posted three runs or fewer in seven of the past nine road games at night in the first five innings.

The Atlanta Braves have lost five of their last seven games following Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat to the Philadelphia Phillies. Right-hander AJ Smith-Shawver looks to slow down the Phillies’ lineup on Wednesday.

Smith-Shawver posted four consecutive starts of at least five strikeouts before getting limited to one strikeout in his most recent outing at Washington. The 22-year-old allowed seven runs to the Nationals following a stretch of five starts yielding just five runs.

The Phillies have struck out at least six times in six of the last nine games against opposing starting pitchers. Smith-Shawver has compiled at least five strikeouts in three of his past four road starts as he faces this powerful Phillies lineup for the first time in his career.

Yusei Kikuchi Under 5.5 Strikeouts (+100 at DraftKings)

The Los Angeles Angels have hit the skids following an eight-game winning streak. The Halos have dropped four straight games as they try to avoid the sweep at home to the New York Yankees.

Angels southpaw Yusei Kikuchi has pitched better recently since a slow start to begin the season. However, Kikuchi has not been consistent in the strikeout department. He has finished under his strikeout total in seven of his 11 starts, including three of four at home.

The Yankees have struck out 56 times in 12 games against left-handed starting pitchers this season. Opposing southpaw starters are 6-0 to the under on their strikeout prop in their last six outings against New York since April 30.
