Supernova wins, leaves DhillDucks winless at OWCS NA Stage 2

Supernova topped DhillDucks in a battle of the two remaining winless teams at the Overwatch Champions Series North America Stage 2 on Sunday, leaving DhillDucks alone in last place after three weeks.

Supernova opened the match with a 2-0 win on Oasis Control before DhillDucks won 3-1 on Circuit Royal Escort. After Supernova took Runasapi Push 144.86m to 45.68m, they took New Junk City Flashpoint 3-1 to take the match.

Playing in the last match of the weekend, Sakura Esports swept Extinction to improve to 2-2, winning 2-1 on Oasis Control and 3-0 on Suravasa Flashpoint before winning Runasapi Push by the narrowest of margins, 112.72m to 112.71m.

The tournament, played online, features eight teams. The regular-season round robin will conclude on June 15, with six qualifying teams heading to the double-elimination regional playoffs.

The top three teams will advance to the Midseason Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has yet to be determined.

Week 4 begins next Saturday with three matches, followed by two more on Sunday.
