Vancouver Surge notch first victory in CDL Stage 4 Major qualifying

The Vancouver Surge recorded their first win with a sweep of Boston Breach on Sunday in Call of Duty League’s Stage 4 Major qualifying round.

Also winning with sweeps were the Atlanta FaZe (3-1) and Toronto Ultra (3-0).

The Stage 4 Major qualifying round has the league’s 12 teams playing five qualifying matches apiece through May 18 to determine seeding for the Stage 4 Major playoffs, slated for May 23-25 in Dallas.

Vancouver (1-2) downed Boston (1-2) with wins on Red Card Hardpoint (250-189), Dealership Search & Destroy (6-0) and Hacienda Control (3-1).

Atlanta (3-1) got past Las Angeles Guerrillas M8 by taking Hacienda Hardpoint 250-153, Rewind Search & Destroy 6-5 and Hacienda Control 3-1.

Toronto defeated Minnesota Rokkr 250-228 on Skyline Hardpoint, Rewind Search & Destroy 6-2 and Vault Control 3-0.

–Carolina Royal Ravens vs. Minnesota Rokkr

–Boston Breach vs. Los Angeles Thieves.
