FA Cup Quarter-Final Draw Confirmed

The FA Cup quarter-final draw has been completed, setting up intriguing matchups as the tournament progresses. Manchester City are set to face Bournemouth away from home. City secured their spot in the quarter-finals by overcoming Plymouth Argyle with a 3-1 victory in the fifth round.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, advanced by defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers on penalties after a gripping encounter.

In another quarter-final clash, Preston North End will welcome Aston Villa. Preston, the sole Championship side remaining in the competition, earned their place by defeating Burnley 3-0. Aston Villa secured their quarter-final berth with a 2-0 win over Cardiff City.

An all-London showdown awaits as Fulham hosts Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage. Fulham dramatically ousted last year’s winners, Manchester United, after a tense penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw. Crystal Palace advanced by beating Millwall 3-1.

Meanwhile, Brighton and Hove Albion await the winner of the final fifth-round match between Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town.

Brighton secured their place with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Newcastle United, courtesy of a late Danny Welbeck goal in extra time.

The quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place on the weekend commencing Saturday, March 29. The semi-finals are set for April 26 and 27, with the grand finale slated for May 17.
